Indigenous Center for Earth Justice
The climate crisis is increasing and urging us to respond. It is crucial we take action and respond in a way that is rooted in learning. Eloheh is founded by those who have long practiced a value for creation and listened to the voice of the Creator by stewarding what has been given to us. For decades, Randy and Edith Woodley have cultivated Eloheh (ay-luh-hay) as a community, farm, seed bank, and learning center. For over 30 years, the Woodleys have been teaching Native and non-Native people’s to deepen their commitment to preserving humanity’s role as good earth-keepers by understanding Creator’s invitation to harmony and shalom. Through summits, camps, ceremony, conferences and teachings, the Woodleys offer an opportunity for all to learn a new way to live on the land and respond to the climate crisis.
Eloheh Indigenous Center for Earth Justice will be a learning ground for Indigenous and non-Indigenous peoples alike. The message is centered on restoring harmony (shalom) by increasing a spiritual consciousness of Creator’s concerns over earth justice. The Center will be a place to uncover diverse areas of life such as permaculture design, religious topics, plant medicines, seed saving, Indigenous spirituality, leadership mentoring, entrepreneurship, forums of racial equity and empowerment, community empowerment, ecological justice and Earth-care.
In March 2020, Eloheh found a permanent home on ten acres of land in Yamhill, Oregon. Join us as we commit to building the Center for Earth Justice. We will continue to raise money for a learning center, housing for students and volunteers, and establishing the farm.
